This Sunday, we continue our sermon series titled, "Promises of Advent." We are looking at several of the prophecies God gave His people looking forward to the birth of Jesus. This week we will read from Isaiah 9:2-7.

Our Kids Christmas skit will be Sunday, December 14, during Sunday Morning Worship. Also, Jerry Lester will be leading worship that morning.

The afternoon of December 14 we will be delivering hot meals to anyone in Stanford who who is in need. To request a meal go to our website and click on contact us and tell us your address and how many meals you need. There is a signup sheet on the information table in the back of the sanctuary where you can sign up to help.

The Christmas Parade is at 6:00pm this coming Saturday evening. Our church's front steps are a great location to watch the parade. We will be giving out free hot chocolate.

Breaking Bread with Jesus is the Youth and Children's ministry we share with Stanford Presbyterian Church. Kids (ages4-grade5) meet at our church in the basement. Youth (grades6-12) meet at the Presbyterian Church. Leaders from our church are at both.
